Pakistani Companies Attend First Ever Al Hamba Festeval to Arrtact Mango Imports Form Qatar

An important event that aims to promote Pakistani mangoes and other agricultural products to Qatari importers is the first-ever Al Hamba Festival in Doha. Organized by the Pakistan Embassy in collaboration with the Celebrations Organizing Committee of the Private Engineering Office, the festival showcases a wide variety of popular Pakistani mangoes, including Sidhri, Chaunsa, Safeed Chaunsa, Anwar Ratol, and Duseri. The event is held at Souq Waqif, one of Doha's prominent cultural and shopping destinations.
The festival not only highlights the diverse mango varieties but also offers a rich cultural and culinary experience. Over 43 companies and 100 outlets are participating, displaying a range of processed foods, dried mangoes, and other seasonal fruits such as falsa, jamun, and peaches. Local restaurants and cafés are also involved, offering an array of Pakistani cuisines to emphasize the country's culinary heritage.
The festival, running from Thursday to July 6, aims to foster cultural exchange through food and encourage importers to consider sourcing agricultural products like rice and fruits from Pakistan. This initiative is significant for Pakistan, a major global mango producer, which faces export challenges due to weather conditions and pests affecting agricultural standards abroad (ILoveQatar.net) (ILoveQatar.net) (ILoveQatar.net).
