Sylvester Stallone, the iconic actor known for his roles in films like Rocky and Rambo, recently opened up about his ongoing health struggles stemming from an injury sustained over a decade ago while filming The Expendables. Despite undergoing six surgeries with a seventh on the way, Stallone has never fully recovered from the incident.

During the season 2 premiere of the reality series, The Family Stallone, the 77-year-old actor candidly discussed the toll the injury has taken on his body. In The Expendables, Stallone fractured his neck and suffered dislocated shoulders while filming a scene with co-star and WWE legend Steve Austin. Reflecting on the incident, Stallone admitted, “I did stupid stuff. I was directing ‘Expendables’ and, like an idiot, I’m doing take 10, take whatever, and I remember one slam and I could actually feel one bang. Steve knew."

Despite his resilience, Stallone revealed that he never fully recovered from the injuries sustained during The Expendables. "After that film, it was never physically the same. So I warn people, ‘Don’t do your own stunts,'" he cautioned.

Stallone's wife, Jennifer Flavin, also shared insights into his struggle, revealing that Stallone doesn't like people to know the extent of his back surgeries. She noted that it's a "scary time" for him, highlighting the physical and emotional toll of his health journey.
