MQM-P Convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui declared the citizens of Karachi had spoken in favor of his party on January 21, ahead of the February 8 general elections. Addressing a significant public gathering at Karachi’s Bagh-e-Jinnah, Siddiqui expressed gratitude for the overwhelming participation, considering it a verdict in connection with the upcoming polls. He emphasized the city's importance to Pakistan and pledged to hand it over to the people who demonstrated their loyalty.

Siddiqui assured the rally participants that MQM-P would uphold all promises made to the people of Karachi. Mustafa Kamal, another MQM-P leader, claimed the massive turnout shattered the PPP's investments in the city and ridiculed PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari's ambitions. Kamal stated that the people's decision at the rally, in alliance with the PML-N, thwarted Bilawal's dreams and predicted a change in the Sindh chief minister's slot.

MQM-P leader Dr Farooq Sattar highlighted the historic significance of the gathering, breaking a 15-year chain of hardships. He pointed out the challenges faced by the youth of Karachi during this period and promised solutions if MQM-P came into power on February 8. Nasreen Jalil and Anis Kaimkhani, other MQM-P leaders, expressed optimism, considering the gathering a referendum and a declaration of MQM-P's victory by the people of Karachi.

MQM-P کنوینر ڈاکٹر خالد مقبول صدیقی نے 8 فروری کے عام انتخاباتوں سے پہلے 21 جنوری کو کراچی کے شہریوں کی جانب سے اپنی پارٹی کے حمایت میں بات چیت کردی ہے۔ کراچی کے باغ جناح میں منعقدہ ایک اہم عوامی جلسے میں بولتے ہوئے، صدیقی نے شرکت میں انتہائی شرکت کا شکریہ ادا کیا اور اسے آئندہ انتخابات کے ساتھ جڑی ایک فیصلہ قرار دیا۔ انہوں نے پاکستان کے لئے شہر کی اہمیت پر زور دیا اور وعدہ کیا کہ وہ اسے ان لوگوں کو سونپیں گے جو نے اپنی وفاداری ظاہر کی ہے۔

صدیقی نے جلسہ میں شرکت کرنے والے لوگوں کو یہ یقین دلایا کہ MQM-P وعدے کی پوری پیشگوئی کرے گی۔ دوسرے MQM-P رہنما مصطفیٰ کمال نے دعوی کیا کہ موجودہ حکومت نے شہر میں پیپلز پارٹی کے سرمایہ کاری کو تباہ کردیا اور پیپلز پارٹی چیئرمین بلاول بھٹو زرداری کی حمایتوں کو مسخرہ کیا۔ کمال نے کہا کہ جلسے میں عوام کا فیصلہ، PML-N کے اتحاد کے ساتھ، بلاول کے خوابوں کو شکست دے گیا اور سندھ کے چیف منسٹر کی سیٹ میں تبدیلی کا پیشگوئی کیا۔

MQM-P کے رہنما ڈاکٹر فاروق ستار نے جلسے کی تاریخی اہمیت پر روشنی ڈالی، جس نے 15 سال کے دکھ کی سلسلے کو توڑا۔ انہوں نے اس دوران کراچی کے نوجوانوں کے سامنے آنے والے چیلنجز پر اشارہ کیا اور وعدہ کیا کہ اگر MQM-P فروری 8 کو حکومت میں آئی تو حلات فراہم کرے گی۔ نسرین جلیل اور انیس کیمخانی، دوسرے MQM-P رہنما، نے بھی امید اظہار کی، جلسے کو ایک ریفرینڈم اور کراچی کی عوام کی جانب سے MQM-P کی فتح کا اعلان سمجھا۔
